While you are stare into a mirror, maybe naked before you get in the shower, walking by a tall mirror in the mall or a little one in a pharmacy right next to the hairspray, and you are critically going over the different parts of your body and thinking about what you would like to change about yourself, remember. . . you are beautiful!
People often say, "If you don't like something about yourself, change it."
I think... mmm, maybe instead of changing what I don't like, I can CHANGE my outlook and learn to like it!?
Work with what you have. Does your right eyebrow droop a little bit? Mine does, and I've come to the realization that its just a little bit of a lot that makes me who I am. And me? I am beautiful. I am good enough.
I carry a little extra weight, and I'm guilty of thinking all the time I want to change and maybe I'm not good enough, but then I remind myself... I am beautiful and I am good enough, and I can't forget that.
As a woman, I want/need reassurance. Do you? (Oh, you don't? That's great!)
Here's your reassurance, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, and don't change a thing.
Work with what you have, because I know you've got something another girl wishes she had and she's probably got something you wish you had, but you don't have it nor do you need it because not having it doesn't make you any less BEAUTIFUL or GOOD ENOUGH!
Embrace; who you are, what you look like, where you come from... don't ever try to change it because you think it's not good enough.
...and maybe those (for the better) changes will come one day, but never change to be good enough and never spend everyday wishing that change was now because you are beautiful and you are good enough.
